Files

The Files app is a file management tool on the Mecha Comet. It allows users to browse, organise, and manage files and folders stored on the device.

Folder Actions – Create new folders, paste items, select all, show or hide hidden files, view file properties, and search.

File Operations – Extract archives, compress files, duplicate, rename, copy, move, and delete files.

View Modes – Supports switching between grid and list layouts for file browsing.

Sort Options – Files can be sorted by size, name, date accessed, or date modified in ascending or descending order.

File Previews – Includes built-in previews for images, audio, video, text, code files, and PDF documents.

Supported File Types: Common file formats including ZIP archives, images, audio, video, text, code, and PDF files.

File Operations: Create, copy, move, delete, rename, extract, and compress files.

Storage Access: Internal storage and external media.

Platform: Mechanix OS on Mecha Comet devices.
